The Dubuque Dragon Boat Association welcomes
dragon boat teams from around the world to the
2008 Dubuque Dragon Boat Festival
in Dubuque, Iowa on the mighty Mississippi River

Our schedule of events includes:

Friday, September 5		Camp Site Set Up Welcome Dinner and Skits
Saturday, September 6		“Awakening of the Dragon” All Day Racing
Sunday, September 7		All Day Racing Followed by Awards

“Friendship through Paddling”

Motto of the American Dragon Boat Association

Awards given in each racing class
plus the “Best Skit”,
the “Best Team T-Shirt”,
the “Best Campsite” and
the “Best Team Spirit”

Team entries are due August 1, 2008

The Captain’s meeting for local teams will also be held August 1, 7:00 pm
at the Dubuque Community Y.
